Comments enabled again

The comments system is enabled again. After there was some massive spam back in March/April 2006 I disabled the comments. Unfortunately to get rid of all spam I had to delete all other comments as well.
In the future I hope to integrate a system to prevent spammer from posting comments. Any ideas are appreatiated.
Also as you might have noticed [:-)] there hasn't been much news updates over the last couple of weeks. Reason was 1) lack of time, 2) lack of important news and 3) no motivation after the spamming attacks.

The 3D Extravaganza continues: Spectronix released!

He's da man. The one and only. He's pioneering in the field of 3D epilepsy. He simply is Stefkos!
This time he experimented with distances of extreme possibilities: The spectrum scope. The frequency analyser. Rotateable beyond believe. Zoomable like never seen before. "Sorry for me...im tired today," Stefkos said and he's spot on, it left us totally flipped out! "I want to get down on my knees and please jesus", said Heinz M. of #amigazeux after experiencing Spectronix for 2 seconds. Faaaar out!
And last but not least: It's all presented in amazing 3D!

Power Application Center opens in Shanghai - Genesi Joins Power.org Board of Directors

July 12, 2006, Shanghai - IBM today announced the opening of its Power Application Center (PAC) at a grand ceremony in Shanghai witnessed by clients, business partners, members of public organizations and the media. The IBM PAC is the world's first dedicated center for collaboration and innovation on the IBM Power Architecture™. Different from other semiconductor application centers, the Power Application Center pools the innovation strengths of IBM and Power.org members to form a collaborative support network for clients and partners.
Genesi has provided Open Desktop Workstations for the Center and will operate in China through the Power Application Center. The Open Desktop Workstation is a versatile development machine that will be deployed in the Center in a number of configurations. Capable of utilizing IBM and Freescale 32-bit Power™ processors, the ODW provides an ideal host/target development environment for SoC's that seek to take advantage of the Genesi HAL/OF. A broad array of operating system and application support and the active developer communities that support the Genesi platforms.
Also Genesi is pleased to announce it has joined the Power.org Board of Directors as a Founder-level member.

MorphOS: 3D Update Release 2

A new version of the MorphOS 3D Update has been released. The changes since the previous release are:
- r200, rv250 and rv280 cards (8500, 9000, 9100, 9200, 9250) now work on Pegasos 1.
- Fixed a rare lockup condition on r200 (8500, 9100).
- Fixed a random crash on starting the first 3D application on Pegasos 1.
- Fixed a scissoring problem on r200, rv250 and rv280 (8500, 9000, 9100, 9200, 9250)
- Minor speedups and improvements
