April 14 (GMT) is Developer Feedback Day!

Day in and day out, developers often don't see feedback from their efforts, saving for the day of a new release. Believe it or not, even updates don't always ensure feedback.

All of us are guilty of procrastination, "I'll email the author tommorrow," but tomorrow never gets here. Well, I ask everyone to take an extra minute today to open the about box--right after starting your software, and email that author!

Old or new, try their email address, at least you will know you've tried to show some appreciation. Who knows? Your effort might get an update, a native port, or even save a developer from depression! Is it an old 68k app? Write them anyway!

Whatever software you use, please take the time to provide them a little feedback today! They deserve it, and you might be the one to benefit!

HyperCannon is an arcade style shoot-em-up game. This version adds on-the-fly overlay mode switching, a custom mp3 playlist feature and 2 completely new levels to play through. There are a few gameplay improvements and new enemies/bosses too.

Chris Hodges released on sunday his USB-Stack Poseidon v3.6 for 68k and wrote on the german news site "amiga-news.de" that he will use the next weeks to make this update also available to MorphOS.

Two new updates for users of Hollywood 2.5 and Hollywood Designer 2.0 are now available in the restricted area for customers on the Airsoft Softwair homepage. With these two updates it is now possible to use different charsets than ISO 8859-1 with Hollywood as well. This allows you for example to use Eastern European charsets with Hollywood. Furthermore, some bugs have been fixed and it is now possible to quit Hollywood without problems from a CLI using CTRL-C.

The HTMLview.mcc MUI class authors are proud to announce that finally after 10 years of successfull development on the AmigaOS platform, the full sources of the HTMLview.mcc MUI custom class are now released under the LGPL license.

Since 2000 the sources were kinda lost because the original author (Allan Odgaard) faced a harddisk crash. However, in early 2005 another try was started to recover the sources from that particular harddisk and luckily the full sources were salvaged from it. Therefore the sources are now release under the LGPL Open source license to 1. attract more developers to it and 2. to have "the internet" as the future backup server for it :)

The sources are now hosted on a sourceforge.net SVN and every interested developer is invited to contribute to the development of the HTMLview.mcc class, especially for the upcoming efforts in AmigaOS4/MorphOS development.
